What we have now in our country are individuals in positions of power who are hired for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) purposes rather than their knowledge and qualifications. Plus, politicians shouldn’t dictate what private companies like TikTok do. Such a control issue could easily spiral out of hand, infringing on the principles of free enterprise and potentially setting a dangerous precedent for government interference in private affairs.
